My journey into therapy began with a fascination for understanding how different cultures perceive and process thoughts and emotions. This passion has taken me to various places around the world, allowing me to meet people from diverse backgrounds and discover a fundamental truth: despite our cultural differences, we are remarkably similar in how we experience and respond to our emotions.
Throughout my life, I have been committed to helping others navigate their emotional landscapes. My journey began with art therapy for children, where I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that creative expression can have on emotional healing. This experience ignited my passion for exploring diverse therapeutic modalities. Over time, I expanded my expertise to include art therapy, talk therapy, dance/movement therapy, and dialogue therapy. Each of these approaches offers unique benefits, and I am dedicated to tailoring my methods to meet the specific needs of each client.
Currently, in addition to my work with various therapy methods, I am focused on integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) into financial literacy. This innovative approach combines the principles of CBT with practical financial education to help clients develop healthier relationships with money, reduce financial stress, and achieve greater financial well-being. By addressing the emotional and cognitive aspects of financial decision-making, I aim to empower individuals to make more informed and confident choices.
